Hold The Front Page - Steampunk Midi Journal

This stunning handmade midi journal is based upon a Steampunk Jewel Robbery in Victorian London. At the front of the journal there isn A4 newspaper page, with the story about the robbery. YOUR NAME WILL APPEAR IN THIS STORY AS THE PERSON WHO HAS BEEN ROBBED - I WILL TAKE THE NAME FROM THE ORDER - IF IT IS FOR SOMEONE ELSE PLEASE DROP ME AN EMAIL THROUGH THE WEBSITE WITH THEIR NAME. The journal contains 120 pages. The 3 signatures each follow a different aspect of the case.

Signature 1

This signature features suspects in the robbery case. The pages feature lined, grid and plain sheets. 5 pockets contain journaling cards and a tag. 

Signature 2

This signature features the timeline of the case. Each page shows the enquiry moving forwards through the investigation. When you reach the centre of this signature you will find who the fiendish robber is. The pages feature lined, grid and plain sheets. 5 pockets contain journaling cards and a tag. 

Signature 3

This signature features all the technology used in the case. The pages feature lined, grid and plain sheets. 5 pockets contain journaling cards and a tag.

Each journal page has been dampened and oven dried to give a wonderful antique texture. All the pages are printed on 100gsm parchment paper. Throughout the journal there are 28  journaling cards, 5 tags, 2 newspaper pages (A4) and a warrant card.

In the pocket of the inside back cover, there is an A4 newspaper sheet featuring an explantion of the technology from Verne Industries used by the police to catch the criminal.

The journal is covered in a beautifully petrol blue book cloth. The inside covers and flaps feature graphics from old newspaper advertisements. The outer cover has bronze alloy decorative corner protectors. The size of the outer cover is approx 160mm x 219mm (6.5"x 8.5") with the inner pages measuring approx A5 (8.5"x6") it is approx 40mm (1.5")Thick. A true unique collectors edition.
